Entry Requirements

The Irish International Hotel and Catering School (IIHCS) is registered with the Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC). The minimum entry requirements for non- EU students are:

1. Completion of high school/secondary school education.
2. Students who have completed a recognised vocational school foundation programme may be considered.
3. IELTS scores not less than 4 or equivalent.
4. Level 5 programmes – IELTS scores not less than 5 or equivalent.
5. Level 6 programmes – IELTS scores not less than 5.5 or equivalent.
6. Must be 16 years old prior to the start of the course.

For those students who do not meet the entrance criteria please contact the local school representative directly to see if you are eligible for our intensive 2 month preparation programme which will run from the beginning of July each year.

The Irish International Hotel and Catering School is registered with FETAC to offer programmes leading to FETAC awards under the National Framework of Qualifications.

Prospective students who are already in Ireland should bring the following for their application:
A. Valid visa (and a copy of the passport page and ID card)
B. Attendance record
C. Course fees
