Culinary Skills (Major Award)

The Culinary Skills Certificate Programme functions as part of the National Vocational Certification framework. It is designed to meet the professional skills development needs of those aspiring to a career in the culinary sector. On completing the programme, participants will ideally progress to the National Certificate in Professional Cookery. Competence in all modules is a requirement for certification. The programme consists of eight taught modules, followed by a period of professional work practice.
